Following the Magnitude 7.8 earthquake, the Local Government Unit of Glan, through its concerned offices and partner agencies, conducted a comprehensive structural damage assessment across affected areas of the municipality.

The assessment focused on determining the extent of damage to residential houses, public buildings, schools, health facilities, bridges, and other critical infrastructure to ensure public safety and guide immediate response and recovery efforts. Post-earthquake evaluations typically examine structural components such as columns, beams, walls, foundations, and other load-bearing elements for cracks, deformation, settlement, and other signs of damage.
