๐จ๐ฃ๐๐๐ง๐ | The provincial government of Sarangani has initially distributed the following immediate assistance to communities affected by the 7.8-magnitude earthquake that struck the province on June 8:
Malapatan – 500 food packs/boxes
Glan – 1,400 food packs/boxes, water, oxygen tanks, and modular tents
Maasim – 300 food packs/boxes and 700 bottles of potable water
Kiamba – 200 food packs/boxes and 700 bottles of potable water
Through the aid of the Department of Social Welfare and Development, the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office, the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, and other stakeholders, more help and relief interventions are on the way to heavily-affected families.
