𝐵𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑔𝑖𝑛𝑔 ℎ𝑒𝑎𝑙𝑡ℎ 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑛𝑢𝑡𝑟𝑖𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑠𝑒𝑟𝑣𝑖𝑐𝑒𝑠 𝑐𝑙𝑜𝑠𝑒𝑟 𝑡𝑜 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑐𝑜𝑚𝑚𝑢𝑛𝑖𝑡𝑦!

The successful conduct of 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐩𝐲𝐨 𝐬𝐚 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 at Brgy. Calpidong provided essential and various health and nutrition services closer to the community, aiming to promote better health, proper nutrition, and overall wellness among residents.

Services conducted included vital signs assessment, PhilHealth verification, medical and oral consultations, fluoride application and tooth extraction, dispensing of medicines, health education, and dissemination of important information on maintaining children’s health. The activity also included the provision of LNS-SQ (lipid-based nutrient supplement), a fortified complementary food for children.

This initiative highlights the importance of accessible healthcare and community participation in achieving a healthier barangay. Through collaborative efforts of the local government unit, healthcare workers,barangay officials, and partner agencies, residents were given the opportunity to receive essential services and learn more about disease prevention, proper nutrition, and healthy living.
